2001
- David Kim started his career at Gyeongbuk Technopark, one of the first members of KTPA (Korea Techno Park Association) to support local SMEs and Startups for developing new overseas markets.
- The first Korea Technopark has eastablished in 1998 to promote regional innovations and local economic growth as the hub of UIG (University-Industry-Government) cooperation. Currently, there are 19 Technoparks in Korea.
2007
- David Kim was dispatched to Beijing, China as the representative of ASPA (Asian Science Park Association) Bejing Office and the CEO of BGT (Beijing Gyeongbuk Technology Service Co., Ltd.)
- ASPA (Asian Science Park Association) was established in 1997 to accomplish the joint development in the fields of scientific technology, industy and economy in the Asian region.
The CEO of MEKONGLINK, DAVID KIM, had worked for a Korean technopark for 10 years and realized the importance of “Local-to-Local” global cooperation to match the solution providers and demanders successfully. That is why founded and became CEO of MEKONGLINK in 2010
