1. THABICO’s development background and strategic orientation
In the picture of green economic development, the Government of Vietnam is promoting policies on developing the bio-industry and circular economy, opening up great opportunities for domestic enterprises. THABICO is a typical example of this orientation, as it not only takes advantage of its raw material strengths but also invests strongly in bio-processing lines, aiming for clean, organic, and environmentally friendly products.
THABICO’s main product lines include fruit juices and fruits, coconut-based products, frozen fruits and vegetables (IQF), and cereal products. Each product is developed through a strict process that meets international standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.
In the context of the Government of Vietnam strongly promoting the Bio-Industry Development Strategy for the 2021–2030 period, the bio-industry is witnessing a remarkable transformation. This is a favorable time for enterprises like THABICO to take advantage of opportunities and become a driving force for green economic growth.

2. THABICO’s Aspiration and Global Development Orientation
THABICO has a clear direction to become a leading enterprise in Vietnam’s sustainable bio-industry while expanding to international markets through innovation capacity and community values. Every activity of the company revolves around its mission to raise farmers’ awareness of sustainable production, develop the local economy, and improve people’s livelihoods.
The company focuses on increasing the value of local agricultural products, stabilizing input material sources, and providing high-quality products for both domestic and international customers. This is the foundation that helps THABICO build brand reputation and strengthen its position in the bio-industry as well as in export markets.
Besides commercial goals, THABICO continuously invests in research and technological innovation, aiming for environmentally friendly production and community health protection.
3. M-Kampus Edu-Lab: A Bridge Helping Vietnamese Enterprises Expand Their Boundaries
3.1 Learning from Practice – Vietnamese and Korean Students Experience THABICO Factory
With the desire to enhance innovation capacity, THABICO chose to cooperate with M-Kampus Edu-Lab, a practical education model developed by Mekonglink. The program aims to connect universities with enterprises to solve real problems, from market research and product development to brand positioning based on Bio and ESG standards.
Under this program, THABICO welcomed 10 Korean students (Daegu Haany University) and 5 Vietnamese students (Tien Giang University) to visit its production factory. Here, students directly observed the strict production process, quality control steps, and bio-material processing procedures.
This activity helps students gain a deeper understanding of how technology is applied in manufacturing, while also helping the enterprise expand its connection with the young generation, the creative workforce of the future.

3.2 Creative Ideas from Students – Opening New Directions for Vietnamese Products
After visiting the factory and listening to the company’s sharing about its product development orientation, Vietnamese and Korean student groups worked together to come up with many creative ideas to help THABICO strengthen its brand image and international competitiveness.
- The first idea was to improve product packaging by clearly highlighting the feature “Zero Sugar – Healthy Choice.” The Korean students noticed that Korean consumers prefer diet and low-calorie products. Therefore, the new packaging should reflect a minimalist and modern style while delivering a message about the natural quality and nutritional value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
- The second idea was to develop mini-size products that are compact and can be hung on handbags or backpacks, suitable for students and office workers groups who prefer convenient and healthy products.
- Finally, the students proposed an influencer marketing campaign, combining KOLs and international students to promote the THABICO brand on social media platforms. This would help Vietnamese products reach young consumers and foreign audiences more effectively.
These ideas show the students’ market insight, creativity, and cultural sensitivity when combining multi-dimensional perspectives with real-world needs. This not only brings practical value to the enterprise but also reflects the spirit of “learning to act – acting to create change” that defines the M-Kampus Edu-Lab program.

For M-Kampus, this is not just a cooperation project but also clear evidence of an effective connection model between education, research, and enterprises in promoting innovation and national development.
The collaboration between THABICO and M-Kampus Edu-Lab proves how knowledge and action can work together to drive Vietnam’s bio-industry toward sustainable growth. From real-world experiences to creative ideas, the program creates opportunities to connect young generations with enterprises, contributing to bringing Vietnam’s bio-technology to the global stage.
