2001
- David Kim started his career at Gyeongbuk Technopark, one of the first members of KTPA (Korea Techno Park Association) to support local SMEs and Startups for developing new overseas markets.
- The first Korea Technopark has eastablished in 1998 to promote regional innovations and local economic growth as the hub of UIG (University-Industry-Government) cooperation. Currently, there are 19 Technoparks in Korea.
2007
- David Kim was dispatched to Beijing, China as the representative of ASPA (Asian Science Park Association) Bejing Office and the CEO of BGT (Beijing Gyeongbuk Technology Service Co., Ltd.)
- ASPA (Asian Science Park Association) was established in 1997 to accomplish the joint development in the fields of scientific technology, industy and economy in the Asian region.

- David Kim started his career at one Korea Techno Park, helping SMEs to develope new overseas markets.
- 19 Korea Technology Parks were established to promote regional innovation as hub of local Universities, industry, government and community

- David Kim was sent to Beijing as the representative of ASPA and CEO of BGT (Beijing Gyeongbuk Technology Service Co., Ltd.) from Techno Park.
- ASPA (Asian Science Park Association) was founded in 1997 to promote joint development in science, industry, and the economy in Asia.

2010 MEKONGLINK was established in Korea
- ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA) came into effect on January 1st, 2010 and MEKONGLINK’s journey began along with it to meet the increased demands of Korean technologies in ASEAN.
2018 MEKONGLINK moved headquater to Vietnam

- MEKONGLINK, as the representative of KTPA (Korea Techno Park Association) in ASEAN, provides various technology solutions from Startups, SMEs and Universities based on 19 Korean Techno Parks network.
- As an official member of ASPA, MEKONGLINK has been cooperating with various Science parks, Techno Parks, and Hi-Tech Parks to share the knowledge and experience of regional innovation in Asia-Pacific countries.

2010 MEKONGLINK was established in Korea
- The ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA) began on January 1, 2010.
- MEKONGLINK was established in Korea to meet the increasing demands of Korean technologies in ASEAN countries.

2024 MOICA Community was established
- As ASEAN becomes the center of the Asia-Pacific economy, MOICA( MEKONGLINK Open Innovation Community in Asia-Pacific) was established.
- MOICA shares various knowledge and experiences of open innovation with Asia-Pacific local communities, especially, ASEAN 10 countries, Korea, China, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, PNG (Papua New Guinea).
